Cape Verde - Minister of Culture visits PROCULTURA projects
Within the framework of the festivities of the Camões and Portuguese Communities for the Day of Portugal, the Minister of Culture, Pedro Adão e Silva, visited Cape Verde from June 9 to 12 to discover the different projects of PROCULTURA in the country. The public presentation of the project "Cimboa - Heritage for Sustainable Development" in Tarrafal (Santiago) and the opening of the Workshop of Cimboa and Batuque, conted with his presence and participation in the institutional speeches. He also visited the Amílcar Cabral Foundation where the project "Resistance and Cultural Affirmation: research, preservation, modernization and circulation", in which the FAC is a partner, was presented. He met the Oleiras de Traz di Munti, beneficiary artists of the Online Arts Platform: Voador. The Minister of Culture also attended a brief presentation of the new play "Fado", by the company Raiz di Polon, of which four PROCULTURA scholarship holders in the Artistic Residencies of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Mano Preto, Bety Fernandes and Rosy Timas) and the Dance Degree at the Lisbon Dance School (Luciene Cabral), are part. Raiz di Palon is also one of the beneficiaries of the Tripé project: Three Islands, Three Arts, pole of contemporary artistic creation. The contemporary dance company was recently awarded the Prestígio RDP Africa 25 anos prize. The Minister also had the opportunity to meet with other PROCULTURA grantees in the FCG artistic residences (Adérito Tavaras and Bruno Amarante), and attended a short performance by Bruno Amarante (artistic name of Djam Neguin) and Betty Fernandes, in the piece "Recontos da CPLP", composed of theater, music and dance (piece presented by the Association Espaço Gota d'Arte, beneficiary of the "Partilha" project). PROCULTURA is an action of the PALOP-TL Program and the EU, financed by the European Union, co-financed and coordinated by the Camões, I.P., and co-financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Its objective is to promote the creation of employment in income-generating activities in the cultural sector, in PALOP and East Timor.

Dans le cadre des festivités du Camões et des Communautés Portugaise pour la Journée du Portugal, le Ministre de la Culture, Pedro Adão e Silva, s'est rendu au Cap-Vert du 9 au 12 juin pour découvrir les différents projets de PROCULTURA dans le pays. La présentation publique du projet "Cimboa – Patrimoine pour le Développement Durable" à Tarrafal (Santiago) et l'ouverture de l'Atelier de Cimboa et Batuque, ont pu compter sur sa présence et sa participation aux discours institutionnels. Il s'est également rendu à la Fondation Amílcar Cabral où le projet "Résistance et Affirmation Culturelle : rechercher, préserver, moderniser et faire circuler", dont la FAC est partenaire, a été présenté. Il y a rencontré les Oleiras de Traz di Munti, artisantes bénéficiaires de la Plateforme des Arts en Ligne : Voador. Le Ministre de la Culture a aussi assisté à une brève présentation de la nouvelle pièce de théâtre "Fado", de la compagnie Raiz di Polon, dont quatre boursiers de PROCULTURA au sein des Résidences Artistiques de la Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian (Mano Preto, Bety Fernandes et Rosy Timas) et de la Licence en Danse à l'Ecole Supérieure de Danse de Lisbonne (Luciene Cabral), font partie. Raiz di Palon est aussi l'un des bénéficières du projet Tripé : Trois îles, Trois Arts, pôle de création artistique contemporaine. La compagnie de danse contemporaine a récémment reçu le prix Prestígio RDP Africa 25 anos. Le Ministre a également eu l'opportunité de rencontrer d'autres artistes bénéficiant d'une bourse PROCULTURA dans les résidences artistiques de la FCG (Adérito Tavaras et Bruno Amarante), et a assisté a un bref spectacle de Bruno Amarante (nom artistique de Djam Neguin) et de Betty Fernandes, dans la pièce "Recontos da CPLP", composée de théâtre, de musique et de danse (pièce présentée par l'Association Espaço Gota d'Arte, bénéficiaire du projet "Partilha"). PROCULTURA est une action du Programme PALOP-TL et de l'UE, financée par l'Union Européenne, co-financée et coordonnée par le Camões, I.P., et co-financée par la Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian. Elle a pour objectif de promouvoir la création d'emplois au sein d'activités génératrices de revenus dans le secteur culturel, dans le PALOP et au Timor-Oriental.

Entre 9 e 12 de junho, no âmbito das celebrações do Dia de Portugal, de Camões e das Comunidades Portuguesas, o Ministro da Cultura, Pedro Adão e Silva, visitou Cabo Verde e conheceu vários projetos do PROCULTURA no país.
Participou na apresentação pública do projeto Cimboa – Património para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável no Tarrafal de Santiago e na abertura do Workshop de Cimboa e Batuque, com intervenção nos discursos institucionais. Visitou a Fundação Amílcar Cabral, onde foi apresentado ao projeto Resistência e Afirmação Cultural: pesquisar, preservar, contemporizar e circular, do qual a FAC é entidade parceira e conheceu as Oleiras de Traz di Munti, artesãs beneficiárias da Plataforma Online de Artes: Voador.
O Ministro da Cultura assistiu ainda a uma breve apresentação da nova peça de teatro “Fado”, da companhia Raiz di Polon onde participam quatro bolseiros do PROCULTURA nas Residências Artísticas da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Mano Preto, Bety Fernandes e Rosy Timas) e na Licenciatura em Dança na Escola Superior de Dança de Lisboa (Luciene Cabral). Raiz di Polon é também uma das entidades beneficiárias do Projeto Tripé: Trés Ilhas, Três Artes, polo de criação artística contemporânea. A companhia de dança contemporânea foi recentemente aplaudida com o prémio Prestígio RDP Africa 25 anos.
O Ministro teve também oportunidade de conhecer outros artistas bolseiros do PROCULTURA nas residências artísticas da FCG (Adérito Tavares e Bruno Amarante), e assistiu a um breve espetáculo de Bruno Amarante (nome artístico Djam Neguin) e Betty Fernandes, na peça “Recontos da CPLP” com teatro, música e dança (peça apresentada pela Associação Espaço Gota d’Arte, entidade beneficiária do projeto “Partilha”).
O PROCULTURA é uma ação do Programa PALOP–TL e UE, financiada pela União Europeia, cofinanciada e gerida pelo Camões, I.P., e cofinanciada pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Tem por objetivo a promoção do emprego nas atividades geradoras de rendimento no setor cultural nos PALOP e em Timor-Leste.
