The exhibition of Júlio Mbaki to be discovered at the Palácio de Ferro of Luanda
The solo exhibition, "The influence of the master", by Júlio Mbaki, will be inaugurated on February 24 at the Palácio de Ferro, in Luanda. Organized by the sculptor Mpambukidi Lunfidi, the exhibition will be open until March 25, 2023, and offers a look at the life and spiritual state of the "tenants", the populations that migrated from the interior of the provinces to the capital, Luanda. In the title of his exhibition, the young artist refers to his mentors, Patrício Mawete, an Angolan plastic artist, who died last January, as well as to the Congolese artist, Somi Simplice-Nzoyaya. Originally from Maquela do Zombo (Uíge), Júlio Mbaki was born on June 6, 1992. Plastic artist and graphic designer, he began his professional career at the Academy of Belas Artes, in Kinshasa, Congo, where he joined a painting course.

L’exposition individuelle, « L’influence du maître », de Júlio Mbaki, sera inaugurée le 24 février au Palácio de Ferro, à Luanda. Organisée par le sculpteur Mpambukidi Lunfidi, l’exposition pourra être visitée jusqu’au 25 mars 2023, et proposent un regard sur le vécu et l’état spirituel des « locataires », les populations qui ont migré de l’intérieur des provinces à la capitale, Luanda. Dans le titre de son exposition, le jeune artiste fait référence à ses mentors, Patrício Mawete, artiste plastique angolais, décédé au mois de Janvier dernier, ainsi qu'à l’artiste congolais, Somi Simplice-Nzoyaya. Originaire de Maquela do Zombo (Uíge), Júlio Mbaki est né le 6 juin 1992. Artiste plastique et designer graphique, il débute sa carrière professionnelle à l’Académie de Belas Artes, à Kinshasa, au Congo, où il intègre un cours de peinture.

Júlio Mbaki estreia-se a solo com “A influência do mestre”, no dia 24 de Fevereiro, no Palácio de Ferro, em Luanda. Com curadoria do escultor Mpambukidi Lunfidi, a exposição estará patente até ao próximo dia 25 de Março e propõe, entre outras perspectivas, um olhar sobre a vivência e o estado de espírito dos “inquilinos”, populações que migraram do interior das províncias para a capital, Luanda.
O jovem artista procurou com o título da mostra evocar os seus mestres, Patrício Mawete, artista plástico angolano, falecido em Janeiro último e o artista congolês Somi Simplice-Nzoyaya.
Natural de Maquela do Zombo (Uíge), Júlio Mbaki nasceu a 6 de Junho de 1992. É artista plástico e designer gráfico. Começou o seu percurso profissional na Academia de Belas Artes, no Congo Kinshasa, tendo frequentado o curso de pintura.
