São Tomé and Principe: PROCULTURA project supports the International Theater Festival
The 1st edition of the International Theatre Festival of São Tomé and Principe will start on Thursday, July 21. This event is organized within the framework of RECITE, a project coordinated by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture in São Tomé in partnership with AEGUI - Association of Writers of Guinea-Bissau. During 10 days, the Santomean public will be able to attend 9 shows of 5 national groups, a Mozambican group and a Portuguese group. The project RECITE - Rede de Centros de Intercâmbio Teatral in Portuguese-speaking countries is a project funded by the PROCULTURA program, the result of a partnership between the Ministry of Tourism and Culture and AEGUI. The objective is to strengthen the two Theatrical Exchange Centers of São Tomé and Bissau, in order to make them places of exchange and support to the activities of the theatrical communities in both countries. In São Tomé and Principe, the preview of the performance and the International Theater Festival will be the first moments of sharing with the public the work done since January 2022. PROCULTURA is an action of the PALOP-TL and EU Program, financed by the European Union, co-financed and managed by Camões, I.P., and co-financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Its objective is to promote employment in income-generating activities in the cultural sector in PALOP and East Timor.
São Tomé et Principe : le projet PROCULTURA soutien le Festival International de Théâtre
La 1ère édition du Festival International de Théâtre de São Tomé et Principe va débuter jeudi 21 juillet. Cet évènement est organisé dans le cadre de RECITE, projet coordonné par le Ministère du Tourisme et de la Culture à São Tomé en partenariat avec l’AEGUI – Association d’Ecrivains de Guinée-Bissau. Pendant 10 jours, le public santoméen va pouvoir assister à 9 spectacles de 5 groupes nationaux, d’un groupe mozambicain et d’un groupe portugais. Le projet RECITE – Rede de Centros de Intercâmbio Teatral dans les pays lusophones est un projet financé par le programme PROCULTURA, résultat d’un partenariat entre le Ministère du Tourisme et de la Culture et l’AEGUI. L’objectif est de renforcer les deux Centres d’Échange Théâtral de São Tomé et de Bissau, afin d’en faire des lieux d’échanges et d’appui aux activités des communautés théâtrales dans les deux pays. A São Tomé et Principe, l’avant-première du spectacle-performance et du Festival International de Théâtre seront les premiers moments de partage avec le public du travail réalisé depuis janvier 2022. PROCULTURA est une action du Programme PALOP-TL et UE, financée par l’Union Européenne, co-financée et gérée par le Camões, I.P., et co-financée par la Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian. Elle a pour objectif de promouvoir l’emploi aux seins d’activités génératrices de revenus dans le secteur culturel dans les PALOP et au Timor Oriental.
O Festival Internacional de Teatro de São Tomé e Príncipe, organizado no âmbito do projeto RECITE, vai decorrer a partir do dia 21 de julho.
Começa esta quinta-feira, 21 de julho, em São Tomé e Príncipe, a primeira edição do Festival Internacional de Teatro de São Tomé, no âmbito do RECITE, um projeto liderado pelo Ministério do Turismo e Cultura de São Tomé e Príncipe, em parceria com a AEGUI – Associação de Escritores da Guiné-Bissau. Ao longo de 10 dias, o público são-tomense vai poder assistir a nove espetáculos, de cinco grupos nacionais e dois grupos vindos de Moçambique e Portugal.
O projeto RECITE – Rede de Centros de Intercâmbio Teatral nos países de língua portuguesa, é um projeto apoiado pelo PROCULTURA. Resulta de uma parceria entre o Ministério do Turismo e Cultura de São Tomé e Príncipe e a AEGUI – Associação de Escritores da Guiné-Bissau que assume como objetivo central a consolidação dos Centros de Intercâmbio Teatral de São Tomé e de Bissau, enquanto plataformas de intercâmbio e apoio à atividade das comunidades teatrais dos respetivos países.
Em São Tomé e Príncipe, a estreia do exercício-espetáculo e o Festival Internacional de Teatro são os primeiros momentos de partilha com o público do trabalho que vem sendo realizado desde janeiro de 2022. Conheça o programa completo aqui.
O PROCULTURA é uma ação do Programa PALOP–TL e UE, financiada pela União Europeia, cofinanciada e gerida pelo Camões, I.P., e cofinanciada pela Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Tem por objetivo a promoção do emprego nas atividades geradoras de rendimento no setor cultural nos PALOP e em Timor-Leste.
