Mindelo children's theater show to be presented the first week of June
The MOTIM - Mostra de Teatro Infantil do Mindelo, starts on June 1st for 6 days of theatrical performances with 5 plays, the launch of several books, and workshops and traditional games in Cape Verde. This will be the 7th edition of the show which was created by the Pára Moss troupe. The activities will take place at the Cultural Center of Mindelo and at ALAIM - Academia Livre de Artes Integradas do Mindelo. The plays will be performed by troupes from the islands of Mindelo and Sal, as well as two Portuguese troupes invited to participate. With the ambition of extending the event to all the islands of the archipelago, some of the shows of this edition of MOTIM will take place on the islands of Santo Antâo and Santiago. MOTIM is the only children's theater festival in the country and is held every year in June, a period dedicated to children in Cape Verde. 3 editions have been organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education delegation, in order to allow elementary school students to attend the shows.
Le spectacle de théâtre pour enfant de Mindelo à l'affiche la première semaine de juin
Le MOTIM – Mostra de Teatro Infantil do Mindelo, débute le 1er juin pour 6 jours de représentations théâtrales avec 5 pièces, le lancement de plusieurs livres, et des ateliers et jeux traditionnels au Cap-Vert. Ce sera la 7ème édition du spectacle qui a été créé par la troupe Pára Moss. Les activités ont lieu au Centre Culturel de Mindelo et à l'ALAIM – Academia Livre de Artes Integradas do Mindelo. Les pièces seront représentées par des troupes des îles de Mindelo et de Sal, ainsi que par deux troupes portugaises invitées à participer. Avec pour ambition d'étendre l'évènement sur toutes les îles de l'archipel, certains spectacles de cette édition du MOTIM auront lieu sur les îles de Santo Antâo et Santiago. Le MOTIM est le seul festival de théâtre pour enfant du pays et se tient chaque année au mois de juin, période dédiée aux enfants au Cap-Vert. 3 éditions ont été organisées en partenariat avec la délégaion du Ministère de l'Education, afin de permettre aux élèves des écoles primaires d'assister aux spectacles.
A MOTIM – Mostra de Teatro Infantil do Mindelo, em Cabo Verde, inicia a 1 de Junho para seis dias de teatro, com cinco peças de teatro, lançamento de livros, oficinas e jogos tradicionais. Esta é a sétima edição do certame, que foi fundado pelo grupo teatral Pára Moss. As atividades decorrem em dois espaços: Centro Cultural do Mindelo e a ALAIM – Academia Livre de Artes Integradas do Mindelo. Os espetáculos são apresentados por grupos do Mindelo e do Sal, além de dois grupos convidados de Portugal.
A ambição dos promotores é estender a MOTIM a todas as ilhas do arquipélago. Por enquanto, há duas extensões abertas, nas ilhas de Santo Antão e Santiago.
A MOTIM é o único festival de teatro infantil do país e acontece sempre em Junho, mês dedicado às crianças. Há já três edições que o festival encetou uma parceria com a delegação do Ministério da Educação, para poder levar alunos de escolas primárias aos espetáculos de teatro.
